Medieval Entertainment
People at the time did not just work. They played games and did other activities. Outside activities like archery, colf (golf), wrestling, game ball (simple football), hunting, and jousting were popular among most people but mostly peasants.
Nobles had big banquet. Jugglers, jesters, and musicians performed at banquets. Nobles also played board games like chess, hazard (craps), shovelboard (shuffle board), and fox and geese (strategy game). |
